Finished my 2L Oral Argument 1 Minute Early

Post by MiddleFocus » Sun Nov 17, 2019 1:33 pm

I had my oral argument for my class a few days ago. The judges only asked me about 4-5 questions and I might've been talking a little faster than I normally due. Because of this, I finished my oral argument about 1 minute early. I went through all the arguments however, and I believe I hit all the major points and got to say everything I needed to say with the appropriate case law. Is it ok to end an oral argument 1 minute early? It's not like it was a lot of time.

Brevity is the soul of wit, right? Either way it's in the past so even if it mattered you can't go back and ramble for another minute based on feedback here.

It should happen much more often in real life.
