Hi Guys,

I want to extern in LA during the spring semester. I applied to the DA, USAO, SEC, and FTC. I was wondering if anyone knows of any LA-specific non-profit governmental agencies that I should also consider?

I am looking for something interesting and unique. I looked at the FBI and CIA, but neither hire for the spring.

Also, please don't quote. Planning to delete after I get an answer.

Consider Federal Court - district or appellate. My district court externship was probably the single best (academic) experience of my law school career. Of course, that will be judge/court dependent.

ETA: Friends of mine had good experiences at USAO and SEC -- more glowing reviews coming from USAO. That said, these weren't in LA, so I can't speak to LA specific experiences.
