How did I do it?
Studied way less, took less notes, paid attention less, found awesome outlines and used them instead of making my own

And how did my employment turn out?
Currently 2L summering at big4 tax. Considering trading up to biglaw for post grad but undecided.

Took classes that I was interested in and in the areas I wanted to practice.

Had a midsize firm job 2L summer but they didn't practice my area of interest so I bet on myself and managed to find a Biglaw job doing exactly what I wanted by making myself "the guy" for that area based on my resume and transcript and networking.

grades generally go up for most ppl during 2L/3L year bc the curve softens up in 2L/3L year and some classes aren't curved. taking a clinic has also helped some ppl bc the grading is correlated to effort and not curved.

More generous curve for upper year classes + LLMs and checked-out 3Ls that pad it out even more.
