Commercial Supplements

Are using commercial supplements (emmanuels, ACING) frowned upon at T14s? Literally everyone uses them at my T60 so I fear it may put me at a disadvantage if I dont. Anyway, just wondering what the custom is at the T14s.

Thanks

There isn't a custom. Do what works for you.

If you used supplements and did well (and you think the supplements were helpful), then use them. If you didn't do well using supplements (or you didn't think they helped), then change your methods. There is no worse tactic than trying to follow the herd, because not everyone learns material the same way.

Some people use them, others don't. Do what you want to do and what you're comfortable with.

OP just wants to get that T14 authentic experience.

Supplements are regularly used at my T14, and I assume they are used at every law school.

Never touched a commercial supplement at CCN, and doing just fine so far.

Again, use them if they work. But the only thing that makes commercial supplements seem ubiquitous is 1L anxiety about "everyone" using them. If you grasp the material without a supplement, then don't waste the money.
