I have never heard of a firm screening someone out because of a single class grade. Now, if you end up with Cs in your other classes, you'll need to put some real work into improving next semester. But despite what your professor may have implied, your civ pro grade does not determine your future career.

This. If a C stands out relative to your other grades, like it does for torts, make sure you have an answer for why your civ pro grade was low. Other than that, no firm is going to instantly throw your resume out just because of one bad grade. No one is perfect, OP.
