Did anyone have success not doing an Evidence outline

I started one, but I feel like I'm wasting my time tbh. The FRE are pretty well written and I feel like my time would be better spent just memorizing off that and practicing.

Not a terrible idea provided that you do plenty of practice, because Evidence questions can be very tricky. You might try a hybrid approach, since Evidence is very flow-chartable. I remember the advisory committee notes to the FRE being useful also. You'll need to outline the Con Law stuff if you cover that (confrontation clause, and other stuff I don't remember)

I didn't make an Evidence outline for literally every class except one so I say go for it
(but seriously just know the fuck out of Character evidence and Hearsay rules and you're like 90% of the way there).

I would at least have a flow chart. I can't imagine writing an evidence test without having something to look at, maybe take a practice test w/o and see what happens

I had a flowchart, so if you count that as an outline I made one, but I did not make a "traditional" outline and did fine.
