Which has been more useful in your research?

Also bonus question--- do all law schools do blind grading? As in, there isn't a name on the final exam?

I have a strong preference for Westlaw unless I need something specific (like Nimmer on Copyright) that Westlaw doesn't have.

I'm pretty sure all schools blind grade during 1L. However, seminar/paper classes during 2L and 3L aren't going to be blind graded because it's not really feasible in those cases.

While in school, use Lexis to cop those points and collect amazon gift cards. But WL is the credited response once there are no more points.

As for your bonus question, asked and answered. If you want to know with certainty about your school, how about naming the school or asking people on campus.

Other than the Lexis case summaries I don't see any reason to use it over Westlaw. The case summaries are nice to check against your own briefs but are not essential by any means.

Given I have access to both I just use whichever suits my particular need, it's not a binary issue.

Yeah, during my SA this summer I happened to run across a very, very important case that was only available on Lexis (wasn't even listed on WL). I recommend using both in tandem (though I go with WL for day-to-day things).

The thing that irks me about Lexis is that when you click the wheel in the middle of a mouse, it opens up a new tab of what you clicked. On Lexis is just reopens the same page in a new tab. When I research I open a lot of new tabs and hunt. Lexis makes it cumbersome.

I too just collect the points for free gift cards.

Bonus: Bloomberg is making a hard push on our 1Ls this year.
