At a T1. How hard is is to manage a journal/review as a second year while taking a full time course load. I will be taking 15 credit hours and am anticipating journal/review on top of that. Same thing next semester (15 hours and journal/review). Is it the same amount of work third year? Lastly, is it true that journal/review is like an additional class?

Pretty much every law student on law review does it at every law school every year, so yes it is manageable.

Do you get academic credit for being on LR/journal? I would look into that and drop if you have a small, like 2-unit class, if you know that you will get LR credit on top of your courseload. My school gives 1 unit for 1st semester LR, 1-2 for second semester, then 2 each semester of 3L year. Board positions on our secondary journals can also get units depending. But we only need to average 14.25 units per semester after 1L to graduate, yours might be different obviously. Just a thought
