What is the ultimate difference between law review and law journal?

I know law review is more prestigious but, does journal even add any value to your resume? Journal is easy to get on and I'm thinking of applying-on. Law review you can't really apply-on. Do employers look at journal favorably? Is it a favored upon extra cirricular by employers? I just want to do journal to add weight to my resume plus I earn credit towards my JD and its just like law review.

It's all about your sell. All else equal, journal is better than no-journal although not anywhere nearly as prestigious as law review. But, if you can really bullshit about how your school's Journal of Cheetos and Sour Power Straws is the best thing since Tucker Max you will be better off. The trick is to sell your interest in Cheetos and Sour Power Straws without even being on journal--that is the ultimate hack to save time you would otherwise waste in the bluebook.

The blueboook isn't that bad and once you figure it out it's pretty easy. Not a particularly useful skill in real life however.

Is it worth joining a health journal if I'm interested in business and corporate law? Would it be hard explaining to potential interviewers about why I have this on my resume when I'm seeking real estate contract corporate work?

I was on an environmental journal. Not a single employer when applying for criminal law jobs (of which I got one) ever once said anything more than "I see you were on a journal," if even that. Most said nothing.

Cool. Is credit applied usually as pass/fail for journals towards degree?

Didn't do any journal, 2 screeners asked why and I gave a BS answer. Both gave me CB
