Question about class rank cutoffs when the top rank is 25%

My school only publishes cutoffs for top 50% and top 25%. Top 25% is around a 3.6. But if you have a 3.8+ GPA, should I put top 25%, or would it make more sense to leave that off the resume because I am likely in a higher class rank, but I don't know what that is because it isn't published?

Ask your CSO - unless the school just started the policy this year, the question has likely come up.

Assuming your school permits the inclusion of ranking on resumes:

"GPA 3.85 (Top 25% at 3.61)"

e: at most schools a 3.8+ will be sufficiently high that it will be impressive regardless, but then there's WUSTL.
