wallstreetoasis may have some useful info about B-schools and jobs in finance/banking/consulting

they are like the yin to TLS yang. everyone there is annoyingly optimistic, just like everyone here is annoyingly pessimistic. But entrepreneurs and business types tend to be optmistic. Which is why i try to inject some optimism in this site every now and then

I guess you are right. There are much more "I did not go to target school and ended up doing PE/VC/HF/IB...here is my story." It is less depressing though. lol Aside from that, I think OP can find some useful info there as well (as long as he/she reads everything with a great deal of skepticism).
