Every professor is different, but I would focus on the following:
-definition of relevance and public policy exceptions to relevance
-relevance of prior similar occurrences
-character testimony
-impeaching witnesses
-definition of hearsay and exclusions for nonhearsay
-hearsay exceptions: declarant unavailable
-hearsay exceptions: declarant availability immaterial
Use mnemonics, good 2L/3L outlines, and maybe the Barbri Evidence outline (~98 pages).
