Supplement for criminal procedure?

First, I would like to thank you for helping me get through property. I got a recommendation for Understanding Property Law from here and I loved it.
Now I have to take criminal procedure. As I have mentioned here before (I think?), I hate casebooks and I almost never read them. I always learn from supplements like emanuel or gilbert.
I have a special situation that I have never encountered before. The casebook that we are assigned happens to have its own supplement written by the same author as the casebook. The ISBN is 9781454859376. I could buy this, or I could buy emanuel/examples and explanation/understanding/gilbert
