Legal Job with an Active Lifestyle

As I sit in my windowless cubicle, feeling my legs swell with blood as I write my second memo this week, I can't help but wonder if there are legal jobs that encompass an active lifestyle (not counting JAG or FBI agent)

Thoughts?

Private or public interest?

I'd say almost anything that gets you into court a lot, but having that almost assuredly means PI early in your career.

Nothing more active than sitting at a calendar call.

Get to work early and work out, then during lunch break go for a quick run (treadmill or city). I doubt you can jog in place while working on motions

What do you think JAGs and FBI agents do? (hint: mostly just sit in front of computers).

It's definitely a challenge but you may want to try small stuff here and there. For example, I have a basketball hoop at home I shoot around on for about 30 min a day after work. If you're doing some high intensity shoot around you can break a real nice sweat. I also go for a brisk 20 min walk after I eat lunch which is usually a Subway sandwich ($3 6-inch ham FTW). On weekends, I go for a 2 mile walk every morning and I try to make it out to the rec center to play some pick up ball for a few hours if I have the time. I think the key is finding an activity that can get you in shape and that won't bore you
