Does anyone have positive experiences with Outline Depot that they could share? Like how you got your outlines approved quickly?

I'm of the firm belief that making your own outline is far superior to just cramming your own content into someone else's. The outline doesn't get you the A, knowing how to apply law to facts does.

I've been using it since 1L and I've found them helpful as supplements. Unfortunately its.gotten harder and harder to get my outlines approved for credits, but maybe that's because they are getting worse.

This is true, but it's also a hell of a lot more work. And I really don't want to do a hell of a lot more of work. I'd rather supplement an outline with additional points the prof makes during class and pick up on nuances or points of additional emphasis. Plus I can surf ebay during class easier without having to type down every single word the prof says (and they say the same thing semester after semester as far as I have seen).

If you're gunning for A's you should make your own outlines. If you are cruising, it's pretty valuable.

Guys, I'm not new to this whole law school thing. I'm just trying to figure out how to not pay for their outlines.

Outlines shouldn't be paid for. That's simple. I've shared and received dozens of outlines. No money changed hands.

In my experience, no. Most outlines on outlinedepot are complete shit. Even as supplements.

Obviously it is good to make your own outline, but the real problem with outline depot is that they aren't even half-decent outlines.

There is no quality control, so there are some shit outlines. I noticed that some were just word-for-word transcription of lecture notes. But I have used some outlines from there to help guide my own outline making, and received A+ grades with them.

I feel like there are much easier ways to get as-good, if not better product. There's value in even taking a different prof/school's wildly differently focused outline and parsing it for relevant material.

I've had 2 outlines (typical format) rejected so based on that I think they outlines must be pretty good? They're picky.

Bought 2. 1 was amazing. 2nd was a mix of my course and another, so it was missing some stuff and had some extra stuff, but was overall pretty good.
