sub three is really rough

definitely talk to professors and see what's going on

I'd probably give it another go to see if I can pull things up, but I'd also begin planning to drop out/how to exit law school if OCI goes poorly

also, should be open to DE (not sure how grade selective they are, but there are good firms there and it keeps you somewhat close)

I don't need ties for Delaware?

One B+ this semester would push me above 3.0. NYU says that 75% of people between 3.0 and 3.3 got a job through OCI while 60 something % got it if you include sub 3.0ers.
I interviewed in Delaware and they grilled me on ties, but not as much some other markets.

After NYC, your best shot may be in your home market. Spam every firm -- biglaw and midlaw - in your home region with a very strong cover letter. Work there 1L summer to reaffirm ties and network.

sub 3.0: 69%
3.0-3.147: 75%
overall: 88%
i've heard that median after 1L is just below 3.3

DE firms stress ties like its Father's Day all year. Be prepared to give a good fucking explanation if you try to crack that market.

you could sell a love for corporate law. the chancery court is where it happens. cost of living is also probably the best of all non-texas markets that pay 160. idk if these are sufficient but they're the reasons i'd pick DE over Philly if I were in your position.
