See this is perfect. Someone make it before a rando does.
credit for the idea goes to checkers
oldtimers/graduates also welcome to post stories of years past (just don't get too nostalgic)

so a prof at my school is notorious for having a really difficult exam.
i did every practice test available on file (as most of my classmates probably did as well) and I still probably managed to pull a C. no grades yet, but this is what i'm expecting
think extracting legal concepts from bible verses. at least he made the class really funny/interesting

Mine are old, graduated 2010. We had one guy with super bad vision. Not blind, but apparently bad enough that he got extra time on exams. A lot. He would get 8 hours for a 3 hour exam. Apparently he didn't need all of it because people would frequently see him chilling out in the lounge and having a sandwich (not just rolls) during the exam.
Another dude got to take his exams at the end of the summer because his wife gave birth in late April.
At the bar exam, there were a handful of people who showed up for morning session of day 1 and were never seen again after!

saw that at my bar exam as well... there are also people who put their head down and take a nap ( the guy next to me did) because they finished early- and didn't want to leave and make it obvious that he knew absolutely nothing on the test ( why he didn't b.s. I don't know, they don't dock points for being wrong so just guess and go).

I remember after one of my fall 1L finals I sauntered over to two of my classmates and said "that wasn't so bad". One of them got a very worried and upset look and said "I thought that was insanely hard" or something like that. I fucking bombed that exam and got one of the lowest grades in the class. She/he graded on to law review.

This happens more often than you would think. If an exam seemed too easy you either A) really knew the material cold or B) missed a bunch of issues!

basically you're saying the only thing you should feel after an exam is "like shit"

When 2L friends asked how one of my exams went, I told them I thought I did well but qualified it saying that I know it was still very difficult though
Basically I don't think there's any right way to feel about an exam after, best to just forget about it and move on to the next one

The best way to feel about an exam after it's over is emotionless and dead inside. Form no feelings. Make no attachments. Move on.
That's also just a good life lesson for anything you're involved with.

Like 10 people at least during my 3 hour property exam where everyone complained how rushed they were on the test and many didn't get to the last question... so hopefully that helped me

Why would you not be allowed to go to the bathroom?

Because they didn't raise their hand and asked to be excused!
I was just dumbfounded that people would actually get up and go to the restroom during a law school exam. Some dude left 30 min before time was called. Others started surfing the web 10 min before time was called.

As I finished my Evidence exam, I saw this kid who had some learning or social interaction disorder get escorted by campus security somewhere, who were apparently waiting for him to complete his exam.
I later found out that he had earlier said very loudly in the school cafeteria "Someone should burn this place to the ground!" or something to that effect to protest the high prices of items. Also, he had stuffed a hardboiled egg from the salad bar into his mouth and walked out without paying for it.

My torts exam had a "1 hr reading only, 3 hrs writing" rule so I got up and peed in the last couple minutes of the reading/outlining portion. I saw a couple kids go outside for a quick ciggy.
