Bluebook questions

Writing competition this week (I haven't started), just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for two questions.
1. Ordinal numbers (first, second, etc...) not in the name of a circuit court... If there is a rule I just can't find it.
For example, I would *GUESS* it's done like this:
Proposition. Second Nat'l Bank v. State, 105 A.2d 200, 201 (Conn. 1925).
In Second National Bank, blah. 105 A.2d at 201.
And similarly:
Proposition. State v. 2d Nat'l Bank, 105 A.2d 200, 201 (Conn. 1925).
Even still, in Second National Bank, blah. 105 A.2d at 201.
These all right? Rule to go off of would be awesome though..
2. Learning to use/differentiate em-dashes and en-dashes.
ALSO, when you DO use a dash, when should it be a non-breaking dash?
Not sure if this is a blue book Q or if I should look into a style guide (no clue where to find that though......)
Thankssssss!!!!

How does this not violate your school's honor code?

I'm certain that the rules of your competition note somewhere that you cannot seek outside help. Given that we all went through the same type of competition, and honored the rules, I don't think you will find a particularly receptive crowd.

AFAIK the only rules for dashes in the Bluebook and w/r/t ranges of pages, sections or whatever, like Rule 3.2
I wouldn't be surprised if the first one is in there, probably gonna read the whole thing cover to cover we'll see....
But I know the general grammar rules for em and en dashes are not in the BB, would love to be pointed in the right direction though

Don't they tell you what style guide you need for write on? NU uses the Texas one.

Why should anyone believe that I am in the middle of it in the first place? Pretty sure that's the crux of an honor code anyways.
Same reason we are allowed to use our computer during exams and on our honor not to use the internet
Whatever though I'm over it.
Y'all on this site deserve your reputation

You don't use comp software for exams that locks the comp from accessing the internet?

A)not all schools do (NU for example)
B)this thread is about write-on competition, which I've never heard of a school using Examsoft for.

Right, I know there isn't software for write on, but I was just surprised that his school doesn't require locking software for exams
