My study group and I are trying to hash out the differences between categorizing defenses and are a little stuck on terms
First, what is the difference between Complete and formation defenses.
Second, our TA put misrepresentation under complete, but it seems like a gray area.
Could someone plase way in on the types of defenses in this matter thanks!!!

Misrepresentation is complete. It's only "gray" because of the difficulty of proving.
