Accomplice liability for attempt

Suppose that A provides B with a gun and A makes his purpose express that A wishes B to kill C. B shoots C, thinking that C is dead. C did not die. B is thus guilty of attempted murder. What result under the common law and MPC for A? Is it possible to be an accomplice for attempt?

You are an aider and abettor. You are basically charged as a principal. (depending on state law)

So, yes, they can be an accomplice to an attempt.

They are guilty of the crime. Here, the crime was: The attempt to kill someone.
