Anyone else do this…. check your offered firm site every so often?

Like most firm with multiple offices, it's easy to click a particular office and check the news section which tends to brag about highlight the firm’s recent accomplishments and triumphs. I thought it would be good to know what my future office is up to. Right before clicking out I always check the attorney count, thinking that we might have added or promoted someone. it's a satellite office with less than a 50 headcount.

Whoa, I just checked and the count was minus three from the last time I looked. I scrolled down the bios and two associates I worked during my SA were missing. I checked LinkedIn thinking that they may have lateraled (or whatever) and it said they were still at the firm. Damn.

Anyone else check their firm site every now and then? Any surprises?

Thanks but ... apparently people checking their offered firm site is not on anyone’s to do list. A bit surprising.

They might just not have updated their LinkedIn right away. Especially if they don't yet have a new job.
