That I don't type fast enough. Actually I knew that but I didn't yet know it has consequences.

I totally disagree with you on that.TTT-LS wrote:Blaming results on typing speed is a cop-out. Claiming you did well because you could type fast would also be a cop-out. The supposed linkage between exam length and exam grade is nearly non-existent.Dead Ringer wrote:That I don't type fast enough. Actually I knew that but I didn't yet know it has consequences.
What sucks is that we might very well get our fall semester LRW grade in March.JazzOne wrote:Now that grades are out, I know that I'll have to work much harder next semester. I still don't have my LR&LW grade though.

A bunch of us are at UVA, and all know each other or are acquainted to some degree. That makes things super awkward.Danteshek wrote:I think embarrassment is the main reason people are not sharingeye wrote:I would love to see some more action in this thread..
I really don't understand why people are so secretive. The truth will come out eventually about one's performance.JSUVA2012 wrote:A bunch of us are at UVA, and all know each other or are acquainted to some degree. where did you find practice tests besides the one(s) your prof gave you?legends159 wrote:Didn't learn much. Just reaffirmed that I learn by doing.
Didn't make my own outlines, didn't really use supps that much, didn't really read casebook too much but I did take good notes, went to office hours to clear things up and did every practice test I could find and ended up doing fine overall.
Same strategy I took for LSAT, took 45 PT and self assessment.
I don't see how "the truth will come out" other than when the Law Review roster is released in summer. And even then you won't know who graded on, who wrote on, etc.Danteshek wrote:I really don't understand why people are so secretive. Btw my Dad went to UVA Law in the early 70's and almost flunked out 1L. Don't follow in his footsteps... He quit law at 28 after working DOJ Civil Rights to become a professional opera singer.
Yes. Yes. More of the starry-eyed 0Ls need to sit down, do some math, and realize we won't all be in the top 10 or 20 or 50%.chompchain wrote:you guys have grades already?
Did they correspond with your anxiety level?
