So I've come across a 10 year old outline for one of my professor's classes. im a bit wary, and have generally used outlines maximum 5 years old before. Any rules of thumb? I also imagine that some areas of law are less volatile than others...

Thanks

Depends on the class. Torts and contracts are golden.

If that's the best you can do, just follow along to it in class to ensure that it is accurate.

Edit: I would be wary if it's for corps.

I wouldn't rely on it for much else than gap filling. Professors are more likely to remove pieces from their curriculum than add them. You're likely to learn more than is required for the course. (God forbid.)
