Top Law Schools

Hi everyone,

Longtime lurker here. I am a 2L and Just got back Fall semester grades, they boosted my GPA by .2.
Question I have is whether to include my class rank when applying for summer jobs (don't have one yet)? I finished 1L barely cracking top 50% and right now I am somewhere between top 33% and top 25% (based on previous 2L end of year rankings) issue is my school does not rank mid-year.
I sort of feel like I am best off just putting on my GPA, without providing rank. Appreciate all thoughts.

"estimated top third" sounds pretty good IMO

Went from 3.19 to 3.39. School doesn't allow anything along the lines of estimated top third. Basically, options are either go with GPA plus top 50%, or only GPA.

^yeah, id leave rank off cause it implies you aren't at a higher cutoff.

Thanks guys! I think you are right. I am hoping that it is obvious to anyone reviewing my resume that a 3.39 GPA is at least top 50%. So there seems to be no advantage to leaving it. As Nova points out, including it implies that is the cutoff I met.
