You are a 1L till you finish your last final in the spring. I hate to say this but shit gets worse in the spring. It won't get better till fall of 2L.

I 100% believe you, but nonetheless, it feels "kinda" good that we're halfway there, accomplishment comes in small steps.

2L is even worse than 1L.

I didn't think so. My 2L year was much more relaxed than my 1L year. I had more non-academic things to do (journal and club leadership) but overall I felt less stressed.

little do people realize, law school is the means and the end. law school is the game.

I'm on board with you classifying yourself by progress but given that Spring almost universally sucks more and you still have the writing competition, your summer job, and OCI before you are a 2L let's go with 1.25L at this point

LOL at 1Ls popping bottles of champagne in the parking lot after completing a round of tests. Nothing to celebrate until you have results. Otherwise, you're better off saving that champagne to help drown your sorrows after OCI.

Damn eff the haters OP congrats! And I though Spring was a lot better than fall in the sense of how hard people worked to get the same grades. You can cut out all the irrelevant shit now because you should have some idea of what works and what doesn't work.

meh I know there's more work during spring semester but honestly I feel like spring semester will be somewhat better because now I know how to do things so much more efficiently compared to this fall semester so that it'll be slightly better
