Yeah, he could use "any resource" in preparing for the exam; the exam itself was closed book. Still not a good thing to post/ask about on TLS, though.Nova wrote:It was a tl;dr exam prompt. Most 8hr take homes got word limits tho.Bikeflip wrote:A. Nony Mouse wrote:Yeah, he could use "any resource" in preparing for the exam; the exam itself was closed book. How can a prof honestly expect a closed book take home test? That just seems like bad planning on the prof's part. Though I guess a huge issue spotter and an 8 hour take home might be one way to remedy the honor code issue. No time to cheat; gotta type!
aw, i was hoping for this againA. Nony Mouse wrote:Yeah, he could use "any resource" in preparing for the exam; the exam itself was closed book. This one apparently had a one hour limit, so I don't know what the hell OP was doing wasting time on TLSTTRansfer wrote:Take home exams suck, anyway. Especially the ones where they give you two weeks to do it. Fuck that shit. I want a takehome that is a three or four hour limit.
Im doing a week long take home right now. Im glad I have a few days cause I haven't done anything for the class all year.TTRansfer wrote:Take home exams suck, anyway. Especially the ones where they give you two weeks to do it. Fuck that shit. I want a takehome that is a three or four hour limit.
The problem is when you have like 3 other exams to study for and the other people (who are doing law school the right way, so screw me, I guess!) have it as their only final and can actually focus on it. My fault and I shouldn't complain, but it's law school so of course I am going to complain and pretend it's not my fault.Nova wrote:Im doing a week long take home right now.
