Do a date restricted search in WestLaw/Lexis with party name NCAA. See what cases have been cooking in the last 18 mos or so.

Also, focus on your LSAT, not a note or finishing in the top 3%

You can't write a good law comment unless you've taken property and contracts and know about equity, and the public good and personhood and shit.
