depends on how your journal selects its new managing board. two common ways are elections or selection by the outgoing board

Honestly I'm just legitimately curious how the process works.
I am proud of making law review, but not to the extent that I would go bragging about it to a bunch of people that 1) I do not care about 2) do not care about me.

You could just ask the EIC...and then you can be a gunner and everyone will love you and want you to be EIC.
