How Common is it for the Bar to Ask for Full Credit Report?

Just filed my Law Student Registration with the Iowa Bar last week and today, they sent me an e-mail today asking me to clarify a couple of clerical errors and asking me for a complete copy of my credit report. While the clerical errors are embarrassing, I am a little freaked out about the credit report. I have a couple of charged-off credit cards but all of my past due account have been settled and I don't have a late payment on anything since 2011. Should I be freaking out about this?

Cuz I kinda am...

So, it turns out that I didn't make all of the clerical errors they claim, so I'm hoping the rest of this is pretty pro forma as well. Still, anyone heard of this happening?

Very common. My bar just asked for my law school app. Is that common?

It's definitely common. I was required to send mine in.
