Does anyone know if these have already come out?

Not out yet, and apparently didn't come out until late July last year.

And we won't get our diplomas until November or something obscene like that.

Am I right in assuming that Allen/McKay scholar isn't out yet either?

Allen/McKay came out around this time last year, apparently.
Anyone have a feeling for the GPA cutoffs for Latin honors and Allen/McKay etc. last year? The only numbers I've found are fairly outdated.

I think, roughly, based on anecdotal evidence, it was at least 3.75+ (if not higher) for Allen, and at least 3.55 (if not higher) for McKay.

FYI--honors are now out on unofficial transcripts via Albert.

If that's all honors that are out, not just grads, then it looks like McKay might be as high as 3.6.

Latin honors are out today on unofficial transcripts. Assume same for 2L honors. 3.86 was good enough for magna and coif. 3.76 last year was good enough for Allen.

Looks to me like 2L honors not out.

2L honors are out. McKay is definitely pretty high.

2L honors are indeed out. Looks about on par with the numbers earlier in this thread.

For reference in the future:
1) These might not all roll out at the same time. When I saw legalmindedfella's post, I generated an unofficial transcript and was bummed to see nothing. I got an email two hours later saying I got McKay; I generated another transcript and it was there.
2) 3.6 was enough for McKay this year.

If we ever catch this legalmindedfella character we should impose sanctions. He or she jumped the gun.
(You are not the only one bummed out by my post who realized they were premature and I suck, sorry).
For the record 3.5X > 3.54 was probably enough for McKay. And to reiterate what you said, this is amazingly by-honors-specific on the roll-out to transcripts. I have no clue what NYU's actual process is but it clearly isn't something one should stress about on anything like an hourly basis.

At this point I'm assuming 3.56 wasn't good enough for cum laude.

I'm in exactly the same boat. Kinda bummed because it was good enough for McKay. (You too, I assume?)

I don't believe I could get McKay since I had my worst grades 1L (3.28) and only got it up to a 3.50 after 2L. I'm just pissed that I bothered trying 3L at this point.

well, maybe they're rolling out cum laude gradually... probably not, but, maybe? I had around a 3.56 after 2L and it was good enough for McKay, finished with something very close to that, maybe a tick higher, and no honors.

Anyone have an idea what the cutoff was for magna/coif this year? I'm a rising 3L who just got McKay with a 3.65—did considerably better 2L than 1L—and would like to know if I'm potentially within striking distance. Feel free to PM me if you don't want to out your numbers. Thanks!
