As with any area of the law, look for alumni that practice in the area and set up some informational interviews.

Actually, "anti-trust" seems to be an acceptable spelling and one that is frequently used by non-lawyers. Pretty sure I spelled it with a hyphen a few years ago when I was applying for DOJ SLIP in the antitrust division. Weirdly, they still gave me a job.
But, you've basically got 3 options for antitrust: BigLaw, DOJ, and FTC. There are some midsize firms that have
antitrust practice groups, but they aren't all that common and often don't do a whole lot of work in it.

- Go to state bar events and network.
- Read up on antitrust news and concepts.
- Try to get an internship at DOJ or FTC.
- Talk to antitrust professors.
- Find alums from your school who are now doing antitrust and try to network with them.
- Ask your career center for advice on alum connections or currently 3Ls who are willing to share advice.
- Join or start an antitrust club at your school. Who cares if you don't have experience. Get the right people and be entrepreneurial.
