What are your plans for the summer? If its legal related and you hate it, I really suggest not going back in the fall.. it does not get a lot better.
It is a legit question... After 1L classes I seriously had no idea what to expect. Firm practice, and the rank and file work you do is not really like the theory-oriented stuff in LS. Grades are not an issue, but if he literally hates what will await him after graduation at the end of the summer, why keep going?RodneyRuxin wrote:Gorki wrote:Do you want to be a lawyer? this is a question probably best answered by your career services office. but the more fundamental question is what do you want to do with your law degree? the longer you stay in law, the more likely you'll be able to make the investment pay off from a ROI standpoint. but lots of law grads get discouraged, leave law, and then join other careers where they are paid less.JuneLSATFail wrote:In Between top 33% and 25% at the University of Georgia. Will have about 130k in debt by the time I am done. I have about 40K right now. Do I have a good enough chance to be gainfully employed in order to pay back my loans or should I drop out now?
