How to speed up Barbri lectures online Forum

Someone said I can speed up the barbri lectures 1.5X speed? Anyone know how to do that? I tried the following advice, but it didn't work

As an additional note, the speed-up can only be done in Windows.

1. Start the lecture.

2. Double click on the video to make it full-screen.

3. Hold down control + shift + G, and it will play at a faster speed. To put it back to normal speed, hit control + shift + N.

Two methods I've heard of, one free but a little more complicated (and requires a smartphone), one around 30 bucks but otherwise easier:

Method 1 (iPhone-specific, since that's what I did):

1. Download iFunbox (http://www.i-funbox.com/) onto your computer
2. Download Barbri app onto your phone
3. Download lectures in the Barbri app onto your phone
4. Use iFunbox to transfer the lectures from your phone to your computer
5. Watch at faster speed in VLC Player

Method 2 (I haven't actually done this, so no guarantees, but I've seen it a few places):

1. Download FLV Grabber (http://www.flvgrabber.com/)
2. Use FLV Grabber to rip the videos from the Internet to your computer
3. Watch at faster speed in VLC Player

I poked around for a while to see if I could find a Firefox extension that did the same thing as FLV Grabber, but I couldn't find anything that worked with the Barbri site.

Enounce will speed up the lecture without requiring a download. It works on both windows and Mac. I am using the 7 day trial right now - so far so good. Costs ~$30 to buy after the 7 days - I will almost certainly be buying it. The negative to it is if your internet connection is slow, the streaming will be crap.

In that case using the suggestions above or some other program combo to download to an iphone/ipad (or presumably an android device) and then playing it back on the computer through VLC works.

If you download it on your phone Barbri has added a button to speed these up. Yay.
