Does Amazon's cloud service fall into fair use even though the copy isn't exactly an archive and the copy is made by a third party?

I'm not so sure they do. I think you can upload whatever you have. Look into it a bit. You could make the topic more generic by saying Online cloud instead of Amazon.

Oh right, I was thinking of CloudPlayer when you buy stuff directly from Amazon (that's all I've used it for).
