Final Twist Of The Knife

Post by kalvano » Mon Mar 25, 2013 9:55 pm

Does anyone else's school charge a "graduation fee" to graduate? It's only $45, but it still pisses me off mightily. Not sure if it's enough to raise the hell that would be required to get it waived.

It's a university-wide thing, not just the law school. Not that that makes it any better.

As far as I can tell, it's a bullshit fee to put a hold on your diploma and transcripts.

It is annoying, but I'm pretty sure it's commonplace. Did you notice if your undergrad did this?

My thought is the school should have the courtesy to find a way to incorporate this into the lump sum tuition you pay at the beginning of the year. I know there are logistical issues with that, but come on guys, get it together.
