Internship at NY Attorney General vs. NYC Law Dept vs. Judge

Post by hoocran1 » Tue Mar 12, 2013 9:43 pm

There are two offices in New York City from which I have offers: (1) the New York State Attorney General's Office in Manhattan (in one of its many independent bureaus), and (2) The New York City Law Department (in one of its many legal divisions).

[I prefer not to specify the bureau or division, but if that is important to what you think I should consider, please let me know.]

(3) In addition, I have also been offered an internship with a federal judge in the District of New Jersey.

I know much of it is a matter of personal preference, but what are your thoughts? Thanks.

This is for a 1L summer internship. I plan to work in corporate law after graduation.
