1L Summer: SDNY Judicial Internship or Private Firm

I was wondering what people felt the better choice would be for a 1L summer. A SDNY judicial internship or a private, mid-sized, firm with prestige paid internship. Granted the work at the firm may not be the most challenging, it would be paid. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do what you love. The rest will follow.

At 22, I'm not quite sure what I love just yet. However, I do know that I anticipate on becoming a litigator, and both positions offer insight into litigation

I would take the money. But, if that is not a concern, flip a coin. It's 1L.

FTFY.
Don't worry about this pseudo-profound bullshit. Most people who do what they love end up as the 35 year old creepy guy working at jamba juice.

Take the money. Look into whether your school offers government externships during the year.

Thanks. Money isn't exactly a concern. I have worked at the firm previously, fortunately during my undergrad. I feel that a judicial internship would expand my experience and resume.
