Barbri for 1L

Hi guys!
Here's a question: I've heard several suggestions here about usefulness of barbri's lectures for 1L, for example their lecture on civil procedure by Freer.
Is there any special course|supplement for 1L's? Or what are the conditions to get those full lectures for 1L's from barbri? link ?

I just went to Barbri and clicked enroll now,
http://www.barbri.com/enroll.html, and then signed up for it that way. I think i had to pay between $25-50 for these lectures and outlines, and I "locked in" the price for the bar prep class. You don't have to pay the full price for the course when you enroll, but basically paying that $25-50 gives you access to the lectures and locks you in to that price whenever you take their bar prep course. It's really just a way for them to hopefully get you to choose Barbri over your other options. That being said, regardless of bar prep course you take, the 1L lectures were extremely helpful for me first semester, especially CivPro and I'd highly recommend them.

I wish I had used the barbri lectures my first year. The barbri bar review lectures covering the basic 1L courses were much better than any supplemental materials I used during 1L.

The civpro lecture is really quite good. The contracts one is terrible. I don't think I used torts or crim, and I'm just in conlaw and property right now so I haven't watched them yet.
I think it's usually $50 for the 1L access (and to lock in this year's price for when you graduate), but there should be deals to get it for $25 a couple of times.

+1. Freer is the man. Wish he taught con law too. Oh, and secured transactions.

I can watch the woman who does the property videos talk all day. She's the most attractive woman I've ever seen.

They're probably worthwhile enough to warrant the $50. Haven't watched civ pro yet, but apparently that's really solid (sounds like the best one as far as I can tell). Torts is pretty good. The problem with them is that (especially in courses like con law or property) the videos can focus on things not covered by your professor, and not cover things your professor chooses to cover. Obviously you need to focus on what your professor emphasizes, but where the two overlap they're pretty useful.

Are you a 1l now? You just give $25 to the barbri table at your law school and they hook you up witha a book of shitty outlines and a website of awesome video lectures and shitty review questions

Some schools also pay for it. I'd ask the school you're interested in their policy.

She's better than Chemerinsky, but wut?
Her remarks on the law as a noble profession are pretty lulzy.
