Question about LSAC, grade summarization

I went through and calculated all grades on my transcript, since I know thats what LSAC does, and counted both grades from retakes, etc. and my gpa comes out to 3.05.

This question about grade summarization came to mind just now -- and I know I am probably getting my hopes up, but I just thought I would ask, how this would be counted.

If you have taken a course 3 times, and gotten an: F, and F, and A, I know they count all grades

But since its the same course, do they average the 2 F's and A and multiply it by 3 credit hours since its the same course OR

does it count (the way I factored) it -- (Fx3, Fx3, Ax3).

I think you mean (fx3)+(fx3)+(ax3) but yeah, that's the way they do it. Think of them as if they were different classes.
