Do you have time for other pursuits outside of law school

Post by wwapd » Wed Feb 06, 2013 6:49 pm

I'm not a student but I am considering law school (I even got a Kaplan's LSAT book!!). But I would like to know what a law student's free time is like. Do you have time to learn a new language, have a job, recreational reading, Xbox, get laid, minature ship building or just any odd hobby? Is the stereotype of law students living in the library and utter lack of a life outside of law school real?

Absolutely you have time for other stuff. Have you ever had a full time job? It's less work than that (except maybe around finals time by YMMV)

No, I do literally nothing else. Some days, I don't even have time to eat.
