I found Inside Con Law, what matters + why to be a mini-chemerinsky of equal value.ilovesf wrote:I didn't really like Chemerinsky as much as everyone else did. I felt like it did a good job filling me in on important cases, but it didn't have as much analysis as I would have liked. Then again, I read it a while ago so I might be forgetting. I'm taking Con Law 2 now, is there a better one?
Also - anyone know about Public International Law? (lol). Something about the UN.

I liked the E&E a lot, but I didn't read Freer like a lot of people suggested.
Yeah, exactly. I still have my Chemerinsky book but I'm looking for something else too. Usually I just read supplements a couple days before the exam. What I think I'll do with Con Law 2 is read Chemerinsky throughout the semester along with the text book to help me understand cases, but read a different one at the end of the semester like I usually do.Jessuf wrote:Is your Con Law 2 an individual rights kind of class? My prof wrote the Emanuel's & Crunchtime so I used them. I liked them a lot, but I guess that's because of how closely related it was to everything we learned. I found them useful though and they helped flush out a lot of things we went over in class that all went over my head.Bronck wrote:Any suggestions for a survey intellectual property course? There are a couple of threads on TLS, but I didn't find anything too informative. Some suggest Emanuel's, others the E&E.
Cool -- are they comparable? Or are they sufficiently different such that I should look into picking up both?ilovesf wrote:My prof wrote the Emanuel's & Crunchtime so I used them. Emanuel's is like 10x longer and more in depth and still has practice questions. I bought both because I'm a supplements whore.Bronck wrote:Cool -- are they comparable? The E&E.ajax adonis wrote:Crim Pro recommendations?
Generally, yes, but obviously, it might depend on your professor.uvabro wrote:cherminfskys horn book ok to replace reading in non-cherminfsky text, and to avoid reading cases? i can't understand 19th century writing in an impacting way.
