For my exam we had to apply Hardin's Tragedy of the Commons to one issue we discussed in class, and I applied it to nuisance. It was pretty straightforward about pollution and compared it to Hardin's example regarding over-grazing.

With Locke, we discussed him with adverse possession, you work the land then you deserve to keep it, and also how acquisition through possession can often go against this theory, Pierson v. Post.

What other theories are you supposed to know? We only discussed four theories: Bentham, Hardin, Locke and Radin so my knowledge is pretty limited.
