I was unable to make it to my bar admissions ceremony/swearing in date, and now I actually do need to get sworn into the bar (didn't before with my clerkship), so I picked a random oddball swearing in date (there's no admissions ceremony on this date). Is this the type of thing family members typically attend? It's at the judge's office, and I assume I'm probably going to be one of the only people getting sworn in on this date (it was by appointment and the office is not in a large city). Not sure if I should invite any family members... Thoughts?

Sure, it's a big deal, no one will think its weird. Invite anyone you think would care - if there literally isn't space to fit them, well, they can wait in the hall.

I guess it's okay if you think that you need witnesses.
