ADD/ADHD Accommodations
Has anyone applied for and successfully been granted ADD/ADHD accommodations? I've heard of students being granted accommodations while others have been denied even though they all have been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. So I was wondering what makes the difference?

Re: ADD/ADHD Accommodations
I was approved for 50% extra time. I had documentation from a current doctor stating that even with meds I was only at 60-75%. I also had a letter from a retired doctor who diagnosed me as a child. I have ADHD. My understanding is ADHD has a hyperactivity component and ADD is only attention related.

Just take your Adderall before the exam like everyone else. Not serious.

I take between 50mg-60mg of adderall daily for combined ADD/ADHD, and will possibly be increasing my dosage because it isn't effective.
