Almost done with my contracts outline. The last few chapters were numbing me out though, so I took a break to revisit one of my torts PEs. By this time tomorrow I should have three outlines done. I need to cut them down, synthesize, and create attack outlines next. Plus start my fourth outline.

it's impossible to say, just depends on how everything falls/how you study. when i was a 1L, i finished up outlining for 3 classes over thanksgiving and then started and finished my last one before finals. in the finals period i memorized and took practice exams (had 3 days between), and didn't have any problems.

other people are ahead of that, other people are behind. i think if you're still rushing to get an outline done once classes have finished, you are a bit behind, but that doesn't preclude success.

Finished my K's and Crim outlines today, but still have a good amount of work to do for Torts and Civil Procedure.

My CivPro class only focuses on the life cycle of a trial (pleading, discovery, trial, appeal, etc) and leaves out stuff like Jurisdiction and Joinder till CivPro II. How much should I really focus on outlining since there is so few important cases like Iqbal/Twombly (rule 8 ) and others that explain the rules? Should I just focus on knowing the rules cold and forget the outline?

Outlines almost completely done, 30 pages each for 4 classes. Going to try to cut it down even more and make the checklists.

How many full exams are you guys aiming to take/think are necessary? I've taken 5 full 3-hr exams and they all uniformly suck.

That's awesome. I've taken one so far. I'd like to take 2 for each of torts, civ pro, and contracts, and one for conlaw.

26-page Contracts outline, done. Yuhhh

11 pages into Civ.Pro., which is roughly half of what I expect it'll end up being.

Some folks are wanting to rest over this break and enjoy themselves... I'll rest when I'm dead / employed. Even though I'm behind... Can't stop, won't stop!!!

26 pages? Nice and concise bro. I need to cut mine down. They're all 40+.

My torts prof reviewed part of my PE today, he said: "this is good, really good." My hard work is paying off. CSWS

It is getting tough not to stress out. The tension was really starting to pick up on campus before the break. I hope the 5 day "break" will help me get some things done without having to deal with everyone else on campus freaking out around me.

I took a few days "off" and it REALLY helped. For three days, I stopped studying/working around 7 and just lightly looked over things. Just got back into the swing of things yesterday and I feel a lot better about it all. Just my 2 cents.

When does everyone's exam begin? Is there a reading week? Open, closed, take home? Free days in between?

Whose grinding right now???

Im almost done OLing my tort OL. I am keeping my long version for reference of course. New document. My new version is concise, 20 pages, and full of checklists! This was about a 10 hour project.

After i finish (another hour or 2) Im going to go through that version and begin writing stock attack pre-written answers.

Ive decided Im going to work on Torts today and tomorrow. Con law Friday and Saturday. K on Sunday. Ill try to sprinkle in 5-10 hours into my CP paper too.

CSWS

Lets burn that mid night oil!!!

My exams begin the 10th. I have roughly a week between my last class and first final. Two open and one closed book.

There are a few hundred pages assigned over the next two weeks, but I finished it.

Basically same as Gaud.

2 open, 1 closed, 1 final paper

Paper due on the 4th
Con law (closed book) on the 11th
K on the 17th
T on the 20th

T20

Two of my exams are going to be worth some 30 percent, I feel like I should study less hard for those two...

My exams start on the 11th. My last class is on the 3rd, with a reading week with a couple of random "review sessions" with professors. All three of my finals are closed book (Torts, Prop, Civ Pro) with the Torts exam running for 3.5 hours vs. the standard 3 hours. Our professor gave us the extra 30 minutes for "reading and thinking". The nice part is we have two days between exams, so it gives you a chance to get some meaningful work done between exams.

Yeah. . . not looking forward to it. My plan is to have my main outlines, then from there make attack outlines, and then get that down to one-sheeters for memorization purposes. Should be tons of fun!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
