Please, please, let this be everyone else. And please, please, let everyone else think no one has started yet, making them procrastinate.

though, it's also nice to throw in things like "yeah, i've already finished outlining. i'm almost out of practice tests though, so i'm worried."

it throws people haha

Yeah, this is pretty much how I am IRL too. Half not to sound like a gunner asshole, half because I don't want to give other people any extra motivation. Though I'm pretty sure there are a decent amount of other people in my section who are "secretly gunning" like me.

+1000 too all my devious brothers.

Also, outlining while watching baseball is not very efficient. it certainly makes outlining more fun though...

Word.

About how many hours are yall planning on putting in per week during this final sprint?

Im thinking 60+ (including 15 hrs of class). Mostly PTing + refining OLs.

I think I can do 60 and stay fresh. I just dont want to burn out.

Probably 70-80 10 hours a day. With time to eat exercise, and sleep. Obvioulsy not completely productive during that whole period of time. I put in that amount of time for like 8 weeks last semester and burned out during finals week. I figure that if I do it for 3-4 weeks before finals then those two weeks I should be hitting my stride/peak.

I'm doing around ~40 hours a week, I think, which includes like 12 hours of class. Probably less than most, but I also think I work very efficiently compared to most people, and I've been working at about this level for most of entire semester (ever since the 3rd-4th week, I'd say). I'm gonna try to bump that up to like ~50 hours a week though, mostly by spending more time (maybe an extra hour or so every night) memorizing my outlines.

Are you counting weekends in that 60 hour calculation?

If so, 6.5 hrs per day seems reasonable. Start at 7PM and go until around 3:30AM (including breaks of course).

I have exactly 4 weeks (and one day) until my first final.

When should I start PTs? Two weeks from now?

The only good thing about writing a brief is that it makes me long to do work for doctrinal classes

i like starting early. it helps give you a feel for making your final outlines and give you a feel for where you are.

that, and you'll just spend more time passively going over the exams in your subconscious if you expose yourself to them earlier.

Jeez  And I thought staying up until 130 most weeknights (though I pretty much never do work past 11) was late by law school standards. I'm usually so burnt out from class during the week that I barely ever do more than 3 hours of work on a weekday (normally I do around 2 hours each weekday).

TBF, I'm a hardcore night owl  Case in point: I went to bed at 8am on Friday.
