Re: OFFICIAL 1L Exam Prep & Motivation Thread (CSWS)
My Torts prof does giant 4-5 page facts for the 3 hour exam instead of splitting them up, and he sent us his past 3 exams. He always does current events, so one is facts around an accident building Trump Tower, the other is about 4 Loco, and last years is about Penn State.
They keep things interesting having real life situations like these. If anybody wants them for practice message me and I will send them your way.

Hey, I'm working on the K exams from the link you posted. Thanks for that!Jsa725 wrote:My friend's tort professor last year basically gave the class the BP Oil Spill Wikipedia page and said: Discuss.

Going to finish my final outline today, feels good man. 16 days and counting.
Would anyone happen to know where I can find some good Torts practice exams? My professor has only given out one, which I don't think is sufficient preparation. We're only covering Negligence and Strict Liability.

Yours truly, LGL, is having an off day. I am pounding through material, no doubt, but I am still feeling apprehensive. I will be finished with the ~200 short answer hypos by Wednesday. I will finish about 4-6 exams per class. For the classes with multiple choice, I am trying to do 100-200 problems per class.Jsa725 wrote:no problema this is a team sport! we study together, we crush exams together, we enjoy victory together. My issue spotting is 75% of the way there. I am getting the major and minor issues quickly.
Think I will be okay? LGL needs encouragement from his bros.

Okay yay (well not yay cause this sucks but you know what I mean). So when you are doing practice tests/questions are you doing them from memory? I don't have my outlines memorized yet so I feel like I would be wasting tests...LetsGoLAW wrote:I do. 3/4 of mine are.Pleasye wrote:Does anyone besides me have closed book/closed note exams?

Edit: yeah all of mine are closed.

I condensed my ~30 page outline into a ~7 page outline. I also have a 1 page checklist with elements. I am typing it over feverishly. So far, I've been able to memorize it pretty well.Pleasye wrote:Okay yay (well not yay cause this sucks but you know what I mean). Nah. I had a good idea of the material, but when I started I certainly hadn't memorized it all.Pleasye wrote:Yeah I'm def going to memorize and do the checklist but my question was when you started doing practice exams had you already memorized?LetsGoLAW wrote:I condensed my ~30 page outline into a ~7 page outline.
