gpa for cum laude at GW?

Anyone know what approximate GPA you need to get cum laude status at GW?

I believe 40% of the class graduates "with honors" or higher (the equivalent of cum laude), so I'd imagine that GPA-wise it's around a 3.3.
Honors
The degree of Juris Doctor “With Highest Honors” is awarded to those students, not exceeding three percent of the graduating class, who have obtained the highest cumulative averages of at least 3.67.
The degree of Juris Doctor “With High Honors” is awarded to those students with the highest cumulative averages of 3.33 or better. The number of students receiving degrees “With High Honors,” when added to the total number of students receiving degrees “With Highest Honors,” may not exceed 10 percent of the graduating class.
The degree of Juris Doctor “With Honors” is awarded to those students with the highest cumulative averages of 3.0 or better.
The number of students receiving degrees “With Honors,” when added to the total number of students receiv-ing degrees “With High Honors” and “With Highest Honors,” may not exceed 40 percent of the graduating class.
For students who receive their degrees in September and January, eligibility for honors will be determined based upon the student’s grade-point average in comparison with those students who graduated the previous May.

Just as a heads up, those numbers are only an estimate and not necessarily anywhere near the actual gpa's where the awards are given, at least that was the case for the 2012 graduating class. I had a gpa close to 3.3 and didn't graduate with even the lowest of the three honors. So it really tends to vary a lot year by year.

As I had explained to me recently, outing isn't supposed to be used if there is any chance of tracking identifying info back to a username. That includes school affiliation, especially for currently attending students. Personally, I think the rule is a bit lax, but I'm not the boss.
