NY Bar Study

Post by tfer2222 » Wed Oct 10, 2012 10:45 am

sorry if this has been answered, but I didn't see a common consensus after searching.

My law school isn't in new york, (or anywhere a new york bar course is offered) nor is my hometown. Very few people at my school take the new york bar exam. I'd obviously like to avoid moving to new york until I really have to.

Do most people just skip the live BarBri (or whatever course) lectures and watch them online? I'm just trying to figure out a tentative post-graduation bar exam prep plan and where the hell I should live while studying.

Comments/suggestions?

Nobody moves to the state their bar exams is in because they need to study for it (some move for other reasons). Bar prep courses are offered either remotely or all over the country. They also all suck, and many people skip lectures even when offered by live human beings.
