Interview questions

Post by newbie_05 » Mon Sep 10, 2012 11:14 pm

What should I expect during my interview? Any pointers? I'm asking about DA. Thanks. I know things may change in 3-4 years but just want to get an idea on all of my current options. Thank you do much everyone!

Based on my (fairly extensive) interview experience over the last few years, most (not all) firms put the focus on what questions YOU have for THEM. They lob you a few generic questions about specific parts of your resume, then ask if you have any questions for them.

Be careful! The questions you have for them are extremely important--this is likely what they use to make their callback selections. Resist the temptation to ask "filler" questions to keep them talking so you're not put on the spot again. Spend time figuring out which questions you're going to ask, and listen to their answers. Don't hesitate to ask follow-up questions related to something they just mentioned.
